Correct now I take 1 7200RPM 320GB Western Digital HDD and 1 5400RPM 1TB Western Digital HDD.
I have windows x pro downloaded on my 320gb hard drive because that was all I had at first and added the 1tb after a few months. What I want to do is go a SSD to reinstall Windows 10 on and have that SSD exist used for null else's other than the OS and the boot drive.
Then my question is. What is the blank minimum size of Windows 10 (and anything future proof for a while on similar Windows 11 or whatever information technology'southward called). Ive seen that with today's prices, a 250gb (which I've seen for effectually $90-$100) is all-time. However I don't plan on putting anything else on this hard drive so that extra infinite is only kind of stupid I would think. I've seen that 60gb could be enough but I also don't want to fill it 99% full as thst could wearisome down the drive.
Is there a sweet spot for my necessities?

I totally hold with the final annotate past USAFRet, 250Gb or thereabouts is a sensible size, because in one case you lot've sampled the speed of an SSD you'll just kick yourself for not getting one large enough for your favourite games/applications-and I speak from exactly the same experiences as his.

I have an EVO 250GB and it does fine for me. Information technology can fit both Fallout iv & 3, Hearthstone, Killing Floor ii and Dishonored one with some other 50GBs spare as the OS takes upward the rest.

If you But want windows x on the SSD and everything else on the HDDs, become for a 128gb. If you desire a small steam library on there, go for 256gb or fifty-fifty 512gb.

You could always partition the deejay in two if you don't desire everything on the aforementioned logical (displayed) deejay. Only leave a few dozen GB spare for future Windows bloat.
